More Teen Camp

This past week was teen camp with the kids from Rosiori.  Each day we had two testimonies and a big game time as well as free time.  The last day we had a fun swim day at the public pool.  We all had a lot of fun and a great team helping us.

We had just an amazing time with the teens that came to camp.  Our hope is that through hearing the testimonies and the word of God that they will come to know him.

More camp!

Another week of camp, only two more weeks of camp left!  This past week we finished out the boys school camp and then had teen camp in Bucharest.

The boys were so happy to come to Nenciulesti!

Bubbles!

At their request, duck duck goose with water balloons.

They had a lot of fun and can't wait to come back next year.

This year at teen camp the theme was experiencing God and we pared it with life sized games!  They turned out really well and it was a lot of fun.

Next we have teen camp in Rosiori and then camp with the girls in Alexandria.  Pray for the harvest of the seeds planted, safety, and energy to give these kids all the love we have.

Day Camps!

For the past two weeks we have been doing day camps.  Our theme this year is Fruits of the Spirit.  Each lesson focus on a fruit that represents a character trait we should have.  We did crafts related to the lesson and also had game time.

Mountain Camp???

On Saturday we had a last minute change in plan, we decided that camping for a week in the cold rainy mountains was not the best option.  (Side note, half of the staff was recovering from sickness as well.) For plan B we decided to camp at Snagov and go to the Black Sea for a day instead.  We had a group of 17 boys for two nights and then a group of 8 girls.

Playing soccer at the park

Swimming at Pipera

Setting up camp at Snagov

The boys at the campfire

At the black sea, a beautiful day!

And of course, more soccer on the beach

The girls' turn

We did honey facials, make up and nails with the girls

Our five minute fire before the rain came!  The girls ended up sleeping inside.

On the way to the sea

With our silly girl, Catalina

Jellyfish!  We didn't see any when we were with the boys, maybe the rain the night before brought them in to shore?  (They didn't sting.)

The entire group.  We didn't get a picture with the boys because some dark clouds hurried us off the beach.  We had a fun time with both groups and were glad that plan B turned out well.  We have now started day camps, so pray for health and open hearts.
